The issue of surgically implanted body piercings was raised at Roster Committee in February.
This was referred to John Fox, STNA Umpire Convenor who sought a ruling from Netball Tasmania first and then Netball Australia. As a ruling from these bodies has not been received as yet, the STNA Netball Management Committee has developed a local policy for STNA in regard to surgically implanted body piercings.
Under Forms/Info is a copy of the STNA policy together with a Waiver Form for the player to complete before taking the court this season.
As there is some urgency around this due to the start date of the season, please ensure this information is delivered to the appropriate people in your club immediately so that the players in question can make their necessary arrangements.
