The 2024 Karana Netball Club AGM will be held:
Tuesday 10 December 2024
6pm at Hobart Netball and Sports Centre – Glass Room

Vacant positions open for nominations of a 2 year term are:
President
Secretary
Registrar
General Committee Member – Merchandise
General Committee Member – Umpire Coordinator
General Committee Member – Events Coordinator
General Committee Member – Coaching Coordinator
General Committee Member – Junior Liaison Officer

Nominations must be made by a current member and accepted by the nominee.
Nominations should be emailed to karana.secretary@gmail.com by 5pm Monday 9 December, with the position being nominated for clearly identified.

Change to Constitution
A motion to change the following passage in section 6 of the constitution will be presented to the AGM for approval.
(Registrar to be removed off the executive committee)

“The President, Vice-President, Treasurer; and Secretary and Registrar constitute the Executive Committee. During the period between meetings of the Management Committee, the Executive Committee may issue instructions to the Public Officer and servants of the Club in matters of urgency connected with the management of the affairs of the Club. The Executive Committee is to report on any instructions to the next meeting of the Management Committee”.

To be passed this motion must have support of 75% of those present and entitled to vote at the AGM.
